Enrolment

Children are welcome to start at the preschool from around 2½ years of age depending on readiness. Readiness includes emotional as well as practical aspects such as being fully toilet trained. Parents and teachers together will ascertain the readiness of each individual child.

Your first step is to complete an Enrolment Form. The application can be made at any age. Once we recieve this form we will acknowledge receipt with a phone call to discuss your requirements.

If you are definite about wishing to send your child to the preschool you will need to complete and return the Enrolment Form along with a $25 non-refundable Enrolment Fee.

Nearing your child's start date, you will be contacted by the preschool to confirm dates for pre-entry visits. Your child would usually attend three pre-entry sessions which are held for a short time in the morning during outside play time. These visits enable parent and child time to meet with teachers and settle into the environment. During these visits our teachers will make careful observations to confirm your child's readiness.

At this time it would be usual for the child to start the following week.
